Wood Blind Cleaning

We clean all wood blinds by hand. We have two methods of cleaning wood blinds. The first method is to leave the wood blinds completely assembled. We clean every slat, top and bottom, every headrail, and wipe down all cords and ladders. This is done with a mild solution made just for cleaning wood. The second method is to completely dismantle the blind, clean and oil every slat, thoroughly clean the headrails and cords and put it all back together again.


Blind Cleaning

We have an ultrasonic blind cleaning system for cleaning vinyl and metal blinds and cloth shades. Our ultrasonic blind cleaning system consists of an eight foot long stainless steel tank, divided down the middle. The front half has ultrasonic pads in the bottom. We fill the tank with soft water and a special ultrasonic cleaning agent. After opening the blinds and immersing them into the tank, we turn on the ultrasonics, vibrating the water at 40 kHz. Micro bubbles form, agitate the water, and together with the cleaning agent, your blinds are cleaned!


Blind Repair

We can repair most brands, styles and types of blinds and shades. The most common repair we do is lift and draw cord replacement. We also replace cord locks, tilt gears, vertical controls, vertical carriers, and more! It is even possible to re-size some blinds. Repairs on older blinds are dependent on availability of parts. We also can replace frayed and broken draw cords on drapery traverse rods and draw cords on Roman shades, woven woods and roll-up bamboo shades.
